A rare teapot by Wedgewood. Originally produced in 1815 by Wedgewood, the “Chinese Tigers” pattern was revived in the 1980’s by Wedgewood as part of the Colonial Williamsburg collection. The pattern features vivid green Chinese tigers transferred to white bone china with hand-applied gilding. Pieces in this collection are scarce and highly desirable as the production was limited and the pattern has since been discontinued. This beautiful chinoiserie teapot will be a conversation piece whether used at the table or as a decorative item!
This piece was manufactured in England and is in excellent condition.
