Custom made wood boot trees by Henry Maxwell, London dating back to the 1930s. The trees are made in 3 … Read more Custom made wood boot trees by Henry Maxwell, London dating back to the 1930s. The trees are made in 3 separate pieces that slide and fit in to each other. Each one is personalized with a brass plate at the top that reads Mrs. E.C. Alexander Maxwell London. The boot trees have wood handles at the top and are embossed with an L (left) on one and an R (right) on the other. They have a patina from age and various nicks and marks from use. There is boot black around the top of each one. The boot part is 18" high with the handles adding an additional 4.5" to each. The foot part is 10" long. There is a brass screw missing from one of the feet.
