The construction is clear and meticulously crafted, with screwed or doweled joints and tapered front legs that lend the model a refined, elegant silhouette. Of particular note is the original manufacturer's label on the underside: a.g. Möbelfabrik horgen-glarus, horgen, with the addition s.a. Fabriques meubles horgen-glarus a horgen. This label clearly identifies the long-established swiss production facility in horgen. The wood surface is light-stained or clear-lacquered beech with a vibrant grain. Some chairs intentionally display darker stains, indicating different periods of use. The warm honey color underscores the timeless, functional character.
