Elegant and sculptural, this rare AM/AS floor lamp epitomizes the refined functionalism of late 1960s Italian design. Conceived by the celebrated duo Franco Albini and Franca Helg for Sirrah in 1969, the lamp is distinguished by its strikingly minimal structure: a continuous, gently curved upright in polished chrome that rises from a restrained cross base, culminating in a hemispherical dome shade. The silhouette is both architectural and light in presence, with the reflective chrome amplifying its clean lines and enhancing its modernist character.
