Offered is a vintage 1980s glazed stoneware bud vase made in North Carolina at the Doe Ridge studio of Robert Meier.
The unusual pinched bud vase has two holes at the top. It can be used for cut flowers, for incense sticks, or for a scented stick air diffuser.
It measures: 3" in diameter, 5" tall.
From the website: "In 1974 Bob Meier took his first pottery class at Appalachian State University and his Doe Ridge Pottery Gallery was opened in 1988 on King Street in the heart of downtown Boone. After 36 years, Meier’s friend and protege, Nathan Fields, purchased the business in July 2024 and moved it to West Jefferson. The gallery and studio space provide visitors with a unique experience. They can find anything from functional stoneware pottery to handmade birdhouses, vegetable steamers, and one-of-a-kind, object-oriented designer pieces. Classes are available for potters at every stage of their clay journey."
