Original antique Rose print by Anne Pratt (1806-1893), one of the most successful English botanical illustrators in the second half of the 1800s. This color lithograph is from her folio featuring flowering plants of Great Britain.
Among the roses shown on the print is Dickson's Rose, Red Fruited Dwarf Rose and Close-styled Dog Rose. The legend at the bottom of the print identifies all of the Roses.
Print is conservation matted to fit a standard 12 x 16 inch frame size. Image measures 5 x 8.5 inches. Mat color is "Wheat" (beige), and features gold lining drawn by hand around the mat window.
This is an original botanical print - not a reproduction. It ships in a flat mailer with cardboard insert, and includes a certificate with additional information.
