A pair of classic neoclassical candlesticks by Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd, featuring finely chased Corinthian-style capitals with stemmed rayed florals amid volutes, ribbon-tied drapery swags on shafts, fluted lower sections, and square plinth bases with acanthus leaf-and-vine borders.
Sterling silver with matching Sheffield hallmarks on bases and drip pans, including maker's mark "HE & Co Ld", crown, lion passant, and lowercase "n" date letter for 1905.
Height: 11 ½ inches; base 4 ¾ inches square.
