Crafted in pewter with a contrasting solid brass base, the piece embodies the restrained sophistication of early 20th-century scandinavian design. The vase features a softly tapered cylindrical form with a subtly flared, sculptural rim. The brushed pewter surface has developed a natural patina consistent with age, enhancing its character and authenticity, while the warm brass foot provides a refined material contrast. Marked to the underside jlh and stamped g9 for the year 1957. A timeless decorative object that works beautifully as a sculptural standalone piece or with a single stem.
