The Modernist poster print is published by The IBM Gallery of Science and Art, printed in 1983 in an unnumbered limited edition of the occasion of the " Paintings and Drawings from The Phillips Collection " exhibition, at the gallery on Madison Avenue in New York City. It features an artwork image originally created by Klee in 1932 titled " Arab Song ".

Paul Klee ( 1879 - 1940 ) the Swiss born Modernist artist is attributed to creating some of the most original and colorful artworks of The Twentieth Century. Klee was an educator at the famous Bauhaus School in Germany. His work reflects the styles and ideas of Symbolism, Expressionism, Cubism, as well the simplicity of The Bauhaus designs. Artworks by Klee are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out print large format framed Modernist exhibition poster measures 23 3/8" W X 37 1/2" H X 1 3/8" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern matte brushed finish black metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent condition. The poster print is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, use, light signs of handling, and some light to moderate wear.
