Exceptional pair of Borneo lounge chairs designed by Sven Ellekaer for Komfort, Denmark, 1960s.
An iconic example of Danish Modern design, this model perfectly balances sculptural elegance and comfort. The solid teak frames feature beautifully shaped armrests, rounded legs, and refined proportions that highlight the quality of Danish craftsmanship. The deep seat and gently reclined backrest provide excellent comfort.
Each chair retains its original textured tweed wool upholstery in a warm natural tone. The distinctive cylindrical headrest cushion, secured with leather straps, adds both visual identity and functional comfort — a characteristic detail of the Borneo model.
