The quality is fantastic, it is very well designed and is also extremely comfortable. The frame is very well carved and has a sweeping look. The scroll over arms are beautifully curved and have padded upholstery, this sits on original porcelain casters.

We have had this re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric, the wood has a gorgeous patina and colour tone. The lower front edge has been replaced at some point, this is barely noticeable and doesn’t detract from the overall look. We have had the frame fully re-polished before upholstery, the condition is excellent for its age.

This armchair was recently out for hire & it came back with the upholstery stained, so it will be recovered & look exactly the same as the image you see.
