Green glass vase with iridescent surface. Ca. 1900 Mouth-blown green glass vase with iridescent surface in violet and blue tones. Organic waved rim. Polished pontil underneath. H. 15 cm. D. 16 cm. Provenance: Private collection, Denmark. Condition: Minor traces of use, otherwise in good condition. Loetz Witwe (Klostermühle, Bohemia) was one of the most important producers of iridescent Art Nouveau glass around 1900. Along with contemporaries such as Kralik and Rindskopf, Loetz developed advanced surface techniques with metallic sheen and vivid colours, making their works highly sought after internationally.
