The centerpiece of this design is an authentic hand casted iron Jal a traditional Indian latticework screen—securely inset beneath a protective pane of tempered glass. This intricate metalwork, originally designed for architectural ventilation, creates a captivating shadowbox effect that adds depth and texture to the center interior of the table .
