All 5 Imperial Blue plates were bought new and hung on a dining room wall as a decorative collection vs. used as dinnerware. Each dessert plate is edged in 22k gold. The Imperial Blue pattern is based on a Chinese export porcelain pattern circa 1730 featuring a flowered medallion and floral sprays.
