Fully restored vintage Danish teak bookcase with adjustable shelves by Poul Hundevad c.1970. Expertly constructed with the utmost care and attention to detail by master Danish craftsmen over a half-century ago. The body of the cabinet is made of solid hardwood with a teak face. The elegance of this storage piece is derived from the simplicity of its form and its exceptional versatility and usability. The warm glow of the rich teak wood only comes from decades of exposure to natural light and is sure to be a sophisticated centerpiece in your living space.
The bookcase is divided into 4 interior sections by 2 fixed center shelves. Additionally, there are 10 adjustable floating shelves that allow you to create your ideal display layout.
Measurements: 54.5" wide, 12" deep, 77" high. Each shelf measures 26" wide x 11.5" deep.
Condition: Fully restored from top to bottom and now features a European hand-rubbed hard wax finish. The finishing product we use is plant-based and formulated for flooring, furniture, and cabinetry. It provides a durable, water-resistant finish, all while accentuating the natural look and feel of the wood. Notice how the light dances off the beautifully aged teak and how the tone of the wood appears to change slightly depending on the angle at which it is viewed! Please note that while this table has been professionally restored, some faint remnant surface imperfections commensurate with age may be present.
