The walnut front, extending across all four drawers, is both attractive and striking. By folding out the first drawer panel, the chest can be transformed into a writing desk. The back of the secretary section features four practical drawers, also in restored condition. This chest is clean, sturdy, and in excellent original shellac condition. The drawers open and close smoothly and can be locked with a key. This is a truly beautiful original piece that you should treat yourself to!
