This one is very clean and was probably not used for that and would be a decorative way to store many things including socks, mittens, potatoes, onions, cleaning supplies or anything you want to hide from sight.

The box is in good condition and the top measures 17 inches by 11 inches and the box itself measures 15 3/4 inches by 9 1/2 inches and the inside measures 14 3/4 inches by 8 3/4 inches by 9 1/2 inches deep and the box is 11 inches high.
