Set of 4 antique Beetle prints from an 1830s English folio of insects by John Curtis, (1791-1862), entomologist and illustrator. These beautifully colored and richly detailed engravings combine Curtis’s skill as a botanical artist with his interest in insects. The accompanying text page identify the plant shown with the Beetle.
