Large Louis XVI style desk resting on four chamfered legs. Three drawers in the frieze and false drawers on the visitors' side. The top, fitted with a bronze molding, is originally covered in tan leather. Beautiful gilt bronze ornamentation. We note some signs of wear on the wheel-decorated leather.
This desk is of fine cabinetmaking quality and is noteworthy for its large size.
