Direct from France, a substantial antique French Louis XV Rococo Revival center library table, almost five feet in length, with dramatic carved apron and sculptural stretcher base.

The rectangular parquetry top rests above a boldly carved apron centered with a shell cartouche and flowing foliate scrollwork, supported by thick cabriole legs carved with expressive mascaron faces and terminating in scrolled feet.

The base is joined by a striking X-form stretcher with central rosette carving, lending both architectural strength and visual balance.

Exhibiting strong carving depth and solid construction throughout, consistent with fine French workmanship of the late 19th century circa 1880.

Measurements: 29.75” Height x 57” Width x 27.5” Depth.
