This beautiful pendant hangs with 6 sails of Japanese paper covered in gold leaf. The light flows from the top down through the middle until it illuminates the plumb line. It is certainly a work of art that induces study and conversation. It has served as a centerpiece of our home, but we are remodeling. It has been advised that we change it to fit the feel of our house.
The light does require a new halogen bulb. Below is the information I received from Ingo Maurer regarding its replacement:
Ref. 7610100 – Bulb M38 120V/300W + Sicherung 4AF / Ohmeima
It includes a safety fuse, necessary because of wattage.
