This is a rare early 20th century (1900s) Jacobean Revival dining table crafted from richly figured quarter-sawn oak. The substantial round top displays dramatic tiger-oak grain and expands with two leaves to accommodate additional seating.
The table rests on a sculptural trestle pedestal base with bold barley twist columns and bun feet set on original casters. A traditional locking mechanism secures the top halves tightly together.
A striking example of American oak furniture from the early 1900s.
Solid, sturdy, and fully functional with very minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age. Includes two leaves with latches that secure them together for storage.
