A substantial vase by Dutch ceramist Gert de Rijk.
This impressive piece stands as a refined example of mid-century Dutch studio pottery. The vase reveals a rich and nuanced glaze surface: layered tonal variations unfold subtly across the body, creating a poetic depth that invites prolonged contemplation.
De Rijk’s artistic language is rooted in the Dutch art pottery tradition, recalling Mobach and masters such as Jaap Dommisse, Jan van Stolk and Pieter Groeneveldt.
The work is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, or restorations. This piece has an attribution mark,
