The fall front displays a rich mahogany patination. The drop front can be opened, exposing the gorgeous green leather gilt inlaid writing desk. The fall front to the Writing Bureau has pull out square wooden supports to either side, holding the fall front open to use the writing desk.
There is a key present, which can keep the interior drop front locked for safe keeping.

The interior has 5 pigeon holes that are perfect for storing documents or books. There are also two upper central drawers with small drop handles.
The front has a smaller upper drawer, with two larger lower graduating drawers. The drawers are all finished with striking swan drop handles. These drawers are great for storing linens, clothing or bedding.
Standing proudly on 4 solid wonderful queen anne legs, and pad feet.

This is a handsome mid century Writing Bureau that would be a statement piece in many office or living room homes.

Overall, this Writing Bureau is in excellent condition, with minor signs of use and wear to the wood, and markings to the leather (as photographed).
