Produced by Wood, Challinor & Co. of Tunstall, England, between 1859 and 1869, this set features the sought-after "Feather" pattern. The design showcases vibrant periwinkle blue peacock plumes accented by hand-painted floral blossoms in brick red and mustard yellow.
​The tureen features a dramatic scalloped, wavy rim and two petite, scroll-style side handles, sitting elegantly on a raised pedestal base. It is accompanied by its original 8-inch matching underplate, which features a recessed well designed to hold the tureen.
