This smaller-sized antique chest from England features a gray marble top, with rounded and outwardly projected front corners, atop the case that houses four drawers, flanked within faux-bamboo carved front side posts. The dovetailed drawers are fitted with a pair of knob pulls and a shield-shaped escutcheon at center. There are more faux bamboo embellishments that run along the bottom apron rail of the chest at front and sides. This piece has a finish that has been scraped down to the natural wood grain, and a deep bronze accent color on the faux bamboo. This late 19th century marble top chest from England is just shy of 3 feet in width, making it a smaller, versatile piece which could find many uses throughout the home. See less
