Grandmillennial Antique Tiger Oak Wood Dresser & Removable Mirror
Kindly note photo number two (2) is a digital rendering created for inspiration to show how this item may look styled in a room. All other photos are of the actual item in this listing.
Beautiful antique tiger oak dresser with removable mirror, rich quarter sawn grain, carved crest details, dovetailed drawers, original caster feet, strong and usable storage with classic keyhole escutcheons. Structurally sound. Top shows finish wear that would benefit from a light rehab or refinish depending on your preference. Mirror is removable for easier placement or shipping style setup.
About the manufacturer (tag on the back)
A. H. Heilman & Co. was a Pennsylvania furniture maker based in Williamsport, a major hardwood and lumber center during the Golden Oak era. The label confirms your dresser was American made and likely dates to circa 1895 to 1910, based on the quarter sawn tiger oak grain, dovetail drawer construction, original casters, and carved mirror crest. While not as widely known as Stickley or Berkey & Gay, Heilman produced solid, well-built oak furniture, and the original tag supports its authenticity and antique status.
Estimated year + reasoning: Circa 1895 to 1915, based on the A H Heilman and Co label, quarter sawn tiger oak grain, dovetail drawer construction, and period mirror form with caster feet common to the golden oak era.
