DESCRIPTION

A set of two Restoration Hardware Jakob Leather Lounge Chairs, inspired by the iconic midcentury modern Chandigarh designs attributed to Pierre Jeanneret. Defined by purity of line and architectural simplicity, Jakob embodies functional elegance and sculptural presence.

Each chair is handcrafted from kiln-dried solid American oak in a Natural Oak finish, highlighting the wood’s rich grain through an intensive multi-step finishing process. The canted seat and back are framed by plank arms and signature inverted-V legs that taper subtly to the floor, creating a striking yet balanced silhouette.

Upholstered in Italian Cavallino leather in Cocoa, the chairs offer a refined contrast between structured wood framing and supple, matte-finished leather. The profile is clean, tailored, and timeless — equally at home in a design-forward living space, study, or layered sitting room.

LEATHER | ITALIAN CAVALLINO – COCOA

Cavallino is a full-grain, aniline leather crafted in Italy’s Veneto region using European hides. It features a finely pebbled texture with a matte finish and an exceptionally soft, supple hand.

The cocoa tone carries warmth and dimensional depth without appearing glossy. Over time, the leather continues to soften and develop a natural patina, enhancing its character.
