Striking vintage studio pottery vase attributed to Ron Lederer, featuring a sculptural flared silhouette and richly textured hand-carved landscape motif. The vase showcases an earthy, sand-toned glaze with darker airbrushed shading along the edges, creating depth and warmth.
The central band is beautifully detailed with a layered relief scene depicting stylized trees, rolling hills, and abstracted terrain. The carved textures and contrasting glazes in black, charcoal, rust, and muted red tones create a dimensional, almost tapestry-like effect that wraps continuously around the form.
Its architectural hourglass profile, wide flared rim, and square base give it a strong 1970’s–1980’s studio art presence. A wonderful statement piece for collectors of American studio ceramics or earthy, organic modern interiors.
Unsigned.
