An especially elegant example, the bucket is comprised of individual staves of wood bound with brass rings, each shaped with rounded edges for a lobed, melon-like exterior. A tall handle arches high above the basin, reinforced with brass and carved in the archaistic style with two facing dragons, a motif for the joy of reunion. See less
