Here we have a stunning antique American Brilliant Cut Crystal vase. Tall and lovely "Corset" shape which was made in America. The pattern features hand cut stems, leaves and flowers, including 8 petals flowers with a star centers, fern-like fronds, a scalloped rim and sunburst base. Quite thick, heavy and well-made from the American Brilliant Cut era which stretched from 1850 to approximately 1915. This type of crystal was often given as a wedding and/or anniversary gift. Wonderful antique condition with NO cracks, no chips, nicks nor cloudiness. There is wear on the bottom as would be expected with age and use. Also some minimal very fine scratches, please examine photos.
A gorgeous, deeply cut, vase measuring 12.25 inches tall, 4.75 inches wide across the base, 5.25 inches wide across the rim and 5.5 inches wide at the widest point. Nice and weighty at 4 lbs. 4 oz. Perfect for tall arrangements... thanks for looking!!! Box10
