The Mid-century bowl By Daum, France, one of the most illustrious glass makers in Nancy, France. The lovely bowl offers an oblong form with tapered rounded ends, and curvilinear forms throughout. Refined and sculptural translucent glass bowl with unmistakably modern form was produced by Daum, France.
This piece is a testament of Daum's forward looking vision and superior glass making techniques that have made them one of the most renowned names of the 20th century in first-rate glass.
Daum was awarded a Grand Prix during the 1900, Universal Exhibition for their exquisite glass pieces.
Signed "Daum France" and is in excellent vintage condition.
Made in France, circa 1950.
