19th Century New England Rush Seat Ladder Back Chair
Antique New England rush seat ladder-back chair features beautifully woven rush seat. Dates to the 19th century. Classic ladder back splats, turned accents and traditional stretcher bases hallmark primitive and essential country craftsmanship. The upright stiles are topped with decorative turned finials. The seat is composed of resilient rush slip and the structure is solid. Original condition with warm patination all over.
