Lower section has two doors with painted scenes identified as the Harbor of Hindeloopen, Friesland "Binnenhaven van Hindeloopen" (referencing the town of Hindeloopen in Friesland in The Netherlands). These painted harbor views depict historic Dutch architecture, church towers, sailing vessels, and tranquil waterfront activity. The scenes are framed by polychrome borders with scrolling foliate motifs in deep reds, greens, ochres, and blues. The cabinet is raised on ball feet.
