The fluid, continuous twist and high-polish finish are characteristic of Murano glassmaking during the mid-20th century.

The sculpture is hand-formed rather than molded, with smooth curves, even glass thickness, and a refined sculptural presence. While unsigned, the materials, construction, and form are fully consistent with Murano glass produced for export between the 1960s and 1980s. Many authentic Murano works from this period were sold unsigned, particularly sculptural pieces intended for international galleries and design markets.
