This faience charger is decorated with fine polychrome decoration with a floral scroll along the scalloped edge with a central painting of a musician and a dancer. The back of the charger has an old label from Gallerie Vandermeersch Porcelaines Faiences Anciennes 31 bis rue des Sla Peres. Gallerie Vandermeersh was an important retailer since 1880, many of who's wares ended up in museum and private collections. This repaired charger also has a circular sticker with VS initials from an important collection.

Condition: Very heavily damaged and repaired.
