It is constructed by the same traditional method using different joinery. Its age is demonstrated by the wide mitered frame. There is also an old repair - a narrower trip of wood. The beautiful carved spandrels in a floral motif give the table a special beauty. The table is well used. The are scratches and flaws that are quite evident. The structure is sound and it still has a second life as a useful piece of furniture. See less
