This example perfectly captures the refined neoclassical aesthetic associated with the Regency period. The frame features turned and ringed supports, finial-capped corner posts, and graduated vertical dividers, originally designed for organizing sheet music, newspapers, and periodicals in a gentleman’s study or drawing room.
