This elegant pair of Neoclassical klismos-inspired chairs exemplifies the enduring appeal of classical Greek forms reinterpreted through refined late 20th-century craftsmanship. Executed in richly finished carved mahogany, each chair features the hallmark elements of the klismos type: a gently sweeping, concave backrest, sculptural rear legs that flow seamlessly into the frame, and balanced, architectural proportions that combine visual lightness with structural integrity.

The seats retain their original hand-woven cane, presented in excellent condition—tight, intact, and remarkably strong—providing both comfort and authenticity. The chairs are accompanied by removable leather seat cushions upholstered in a warm, taupe chocolate-brown leather with a soft, lightly burnished surface, complementing the mahogany’s tone while adding a layer of tailored comfort. The cushions are optional and may be removed to reveal the fully functional cane seats beneath.
