Dutch 833 standard silver scent box, 1873 hallmarked. A “loderein”, aka sponge box for applying perfumed water with a sponge or cotton ball kept inside. Now useful for peppermints, studs, etc. Ribbed design with engraving shield (never used). Assay location rubbed. 0.85 troy oz. Light dents.
