Carved from solid wood, the piece has a warm honey-brown tone with a lively grain pattern. The calligraphy is deeply incised and darkened, creating a bold, graphic contrast against the wood. Thanks to its scale, volume, and weight, it has a sculptural presence that immediately adds atmosphere to a space.

In a contemporary interior, it works as a strong Japanese statement piece: minimal in form, yet rich in character through the craftsmanship, the depth of the carving, and the natural wood figure.
