A charming and whimsical trompe-l’œil side table designed by Accessoires for the Strata Group, titled Scandinavian Bouquet and hand painted in Thailand, circa 1992.
This sculptural table is crafted in papier-mâché and expertly hand painted to resemble a gathered fabric table skirt, complete with soft draping, scalloped trim, and vertical navy striping. The upper portion features delicate blue rose bouquets against a warm ivory ground, finished with a thick round glass top.
Equal parts playful and sophisticated, this piece brings instant personality to a space — perfect beside a lounge chair, in a sunroom, or layered into a Palm Beach, Scandinavian, or cottage-inspired interior.
