This poster is in very good condition and has been framed by a master framer. The poster was used for promotional purposes for the 1965 film Von Ryan's Express featuring the famous musician Frank Sinatra.
The film is about allied prisoners of WWII escaping from captivity. On their way to freedom they must go through German controlled Italy before reaching safety in Switzerland. The film was one of Sinatra's most commercially successful and this poster is an uncommon piece considering it's age and condition.
It measures 14 1/4" x 36 1/2" x 1 1/8" in thickness framed as it is. While the piece itself measured within the confines of the frame measures 13" x 35".
