The piece are hand-painted in shades of deep red with accents in real gold. The plates feature peacocks, flowers/peonies and geometric designs around the rim. The background appears to be silk in a faint cream/butter white. The frame itself is a gilt gold and has red showing through in some areas. The backs have been taped since there were a few rips in the paper covers. These look wonderful displayed together! See less
