This lovely vintage porcelain Rosenthal Kunstabteilung Selb Germany (Rosenthal art department in Selb, Bavaria) vase is a unique matte black bisque with hand-painted roses on both front and back. It is so pretty and goes with a Rosenthal bowl also on my site. It was made in Germany; c1939-56 and most likely around 1945. The gold stand on the bottom and fine gold trim on the top are without any wear or damage. The lovely roses really pop against the black background and it is rare to have paintings on both front and back.
It stands 8” tall and is about 4” in diameter.
