This walnut side table is exquisite--from the carved cabriole legs, the graceful serpentine stretcher in an X-shape accented with an acorn finial. This antique/vintage provincial Louis XV style walnut marble-top low table has everyting including a nice wood patina.
It iis made and labeled by J.B. Van Sciver Co., Camden, NJ, bearing the label used between 1881-1932.
The shaped top with rectangular inset has variegated black marble that rests on the reeded serpentine rail,.
It measures 18 inches high, 25 inches long, 16 inches wide. This is my best antique find of 2021.from an antique store.
