Evans, Colorado, and … Read more These two plates are the pretty blue souvenir plates made by Staffordshire, from England. One depicts Mt. Evans, Colorado, and the other is Historic Vermont. Both have a blue floral border. The Mt. Evans plate shows the Summit of Mt. Evans, world's highest scenic highway. On the back it is marked Old English Staffordshire Ware, Adams England, Jonroth England, and says it was designed and imported exclusively for Mt. Evans CO. Golden, Colorado. The other plate shows scenes of historic Vermont p State House, Calvin Coolidge, Chester Arthur, and Justin Morrill homesteads, and Chimney Point and Bennington Battle Monument. On the back it describes the sites shown on the front. It also says Made Especially for Vermont Division for Historic Preservation; Old English Staffordshire Ware, Jonroth England, Made in Staffordshire England. Both plates are approximately the same size, but the Mt. Evans is just a slight bit smaller at 10" across. I don't think these are the old flo blue plates but these are probably mid 20th century.
