Fabulous late 19th C. / early 20th C. European wire plant stand of English or French origin.. Fabricated of wire and recently repainted in black, the piece boasts 3 tiers + an arched arbor which would be the perfect trellis for pots of ivy on either side. The semi-circular shape allows it to nestle snugly against a wall. Lovely for its intended use to display potted plants or repurpose (as shown) into a bar or bookcase by adding 1/4" thick acrylic or black painted shelves to provide a level surface, (shelves & props not included).
Dimensions: overall, 42"W x 26"D x 69"H; tiers, 7.5" Dia. @ 39" above floor (basket); 7"D @ 29" above floor (middle), 7.5"D @ 19" above floor (lower); trellis 6"D.
Good antique condition; recently repainted, some replaced wires, 1 caster only, wear from 125+ years of enjoyment.
