moreTwo framed antique hand colored botanical engravings after original 17th century engravings by Nicolas Robert (French, 1614-1685). The artist was a highly regarded artist and printmaker who completed a number of botanical and ornithological studies. The date of production and the publication of these two prints is unknown. Both are on antique laid paper. Both are signed in the plate. One is "N. Robert 14" the other is "N. Robert 9". These prints are assumed to have have been produced in the 19th century or earlier. The back of each print includes what appears to be a 20th century identification stamp. One is stamped B/3007/14 and the other is stamped B/3007/9; perhaps by a gallery, university, or museum. The matting board of each has been cut away and protected with clear acid free plastic in order to show the stamp. The one stamped B/3007/14 is obscured by the frame. The frame was moved in order to photograph.
Both have recently been framed on contemporary gold tone frames with acid free materials. The frames measure 20" x 24" and 19" x 25" Each plate measures 9.5" x 15". Plate marks are visible on each print. less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.
- Once shipping or pickup has been initiated, the cancellation will be considered a return and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
