Circa 1830, Baltimore mahogany drop leaf dining table with gateleg support. The leaves, as well as the table top, is each made of one piece of wood. The six ring turned, tapered and reeded legs rest on brass casters. In excellent antique condition, these quality pieces of antique American furniture are getting harder to find.
With leaves down, table measures 23" X 48". Each leaf is 22" long.

- Very good condition. Some nicks to the bottom of one leaf as seen in photos. The same leaf seems to … moreVery good condition. Some nicks to the bottom of one leaf as seen in photos. The same leaf seems to have some loss to the finish on the edge facing the floor. I did spot a board that was added under the table (see photo at end). There is an a slight age crack about 8" long at one end of the table top. I think this board was installed as a preventative measure to protect the table. This piece is 200 years old and there is no way for us to detect every expert repair that may have been previously made. less
